Putting ones feet up!
The last box has been unpacked at our new abode: Broadley Terrace, NW1 6LG! The light, airy space is fabulous. The pupils, parents anmd staff love all the new facilities. We particularly love having a chef, Tracy, who keeps us well nourished. It has been a very busy first half term but now that we have settled in we deserve a bit of R & R. Enjoy half term!

Moving On!
Yes it is actually happening. AHS is moving to new and enhanced facilities in September. We are all very excited and although we have yet to start packing meetings are already in hand with architetcs etc. The thought of having space in the newly refurbished and impressive Victorain building to house science, music, library, art, sport and dining without having to box and cox will be superb!

Art success once again!
Delighted to return from the ISA London West meeting with the knowledge that Ash class had won a third prize for The Story of the Vikings in the under 11's art category. Well done, brilliant news!

Welcome Back!
Abingdon House School has got off to a really good start with new staff and pupils having settled in well. A joy not to have to deal with ash clouds and managed to work around a tube strike on Day 2! Some things never change. Reached the age of 50 over the summer holidays-don't feel any different and probably wont remember if staff and pupils have to remind me to do something or raise thier voices when speaking to me!Enjoy the rest of the term.

Summer's here at last!
The end of term finally arrived! This term had began well and we all had high hopes for an enjoyable last term of the year. That was until the phone call came from ISI giving 5 days notice of a standard inspection. I had known for a while that our luck would come to an end soon. However, we are delighted with our 'outstanding' inspection report. Thanks to all pupils, staff and parents as well as to the inspection team who were rigorous but very approachable and understood our school very well indeed. Only 3 years to go and counting before the next one! Have a great summer. Nick Rees

School at last!
Wednesday 21 April Delighted to be back! Bangkok not the wisest choice of cities to be stranded in for 5 days! We have all swapped stories of sitting by the pool planning a route home-surprising how many thought the Queen Mary a viable option! My newly acquired celebrity status took a nose dive having been interviwed by Channel 4 and ITV at Heathrow and then discovered that I had also appeared on the front page of The Sun. Only one staff member and two pupils yet to arrive-welcome home everybody.
